Hi. Everyone,
In our performance evaluation, there is a big section “Leadership”. iCatchIT management expects leadership for all employees. BUT I told you there are various of leadership styles. You don’t know where to enter? I will show you a popular one in the professional world.
Emotional Intelligence (EI) was introduced by Daniel Goldman in 1955 in his book. Before 1970, Intelligence was measured by IQ however, some behaviorologists, Howard Gardner, Peter Salovey and John Mayer presented basis of Emotional Intelligence theory. Why is EI as important as IQ? I will explain how you can be successful in your life and profession with EI.
What are Five Domains for EI?
You may think about your success and failures in life. Can you think of what are the factors that mattered in either success or failure? The above Five Domains tell you how you are going to be successful from now on.
First, you have to understand yourself. Who are you? What are your behavior patterns? After you organize your thoughts on yourself. Then, ask yourself; what is your goal? Your success is not always accomplished all by yourself. There are external factors; others. Next, you have to understand others and their feelings. Did your mom say “Don’t hurt your friend’s feelings”? Yes. EI reduces conflict and increases stability and more importantly is productive for your success.
iCatchIT’s human resource programs are designed for our employees’ success. We encourage effective communication between management and employees and guide them for their success.
